Detroit’s casinos see $98.9 million in revenue for September, slightly down Y-o-Y
Detroit’s three casinos generated $8.0 million in state gaming taxes and $16.1 million in city payments in September 2025, despite a slight dip in overall revenue. Combined casino revenue reached $98.9 million, with table games and slots contributing $98.2 million and retail sports betting $747,425. Year-over-year, table and slot revenues fell 3.0%, and market share was led by MGM Grand Detroit at 47%, followed by MotorCity Casino at 30% and Hollywood Casino at Greektown at 23%.
